Search Proces

Our Executive Search process is focused on a careful analysis of the structure and culture of your organization together with the specific requirements of the position. Van Elst & Partners uses a proven successful and transparent Search Process for this.

We find the best match with these 16 steps:

01

We start with an extensive interview to understand your needs and expectations.

02

We outline our services and make a proposal for exclusive collaboration.

03

Together we create a thorough job profile, tailored to your organizational culture and the requirements of the role.

04

Based on the search profile, we will compile a longlist of potential candidates and discuss this with you.

05

After evaluating the longlist, we present a shortlist of suitable candidates who will then be approached by us.

06

We will interview qualified candidates and inform them about the position. Candidates will also be assessed on qualifications and culture fit.

07

We provide a detailed report of our findings for each candidate, including strengths and development areas.

08

You will conduct interviews with proposed candidates. In the meantime, we will meet to hear your feedback and share that of the candidates with you.

09

We facilitate a meeting with your stakeholders and our consultant to discuss feedback.

10

Together we select the final candidate who is best suited for the vacancy.

11

Based on the bandwidth and expectations of the candidate, we advise on a suitable offer.

12

You present the offer to the selected candidate.

13

We support the offer acceptance process and facilitate any negotiations.

14

We help you prepare well for the start and ensure a smooth onboarding of the candidate.

15

We have regular discussions with you and the candidate to ensure that the collaboration develops satisfactorily.

16

We evaluate the assignment and formally complete it.

During this process we ensure clear and consistent communication with both you as the client and the candidates. The pace and success of the search largely depend on the involvement and time you invest in the process.

“We find the best candidate, not just the best available candidate.”
