Do something great

After five years of challenges and growth as founder and CEO of Techspire, where we grew to a team of 25 talented employees, I am enthusiastically returning to my true passion: Executive Search. This field has inspired me for years, because I can use my skills to help both candidates and organizations realize their ambitions.

My career in executive search started in the late 90s. Since then, I have had the privilege of coaching many senior managers and supporting various companies in their search for top candidates in an increasingly scarce labor market. I have experienced that finding the right match goes beyond just assessing qualifications and experience.

An important lesson I have learned is the essential role of 'culture fit'. The success of a candidate is a combination of their qualities and the culture of the organization. A good match is not only about the work experience someone has gained, but especially about how this person fits in with the values, standards and working environment of the company.

At Van Elst & Partners Executive Search, this philosophy is central to our approach. Nothing is as satisfying as creating unexpected but successful matches, which result in fruitful collaborations. These moments of discovery and alignment make my work special.

What motivates me most is the appreciation I receive from my clients. When an organization tells me how the right candidate has had a significant impact on their team and culture, it gives me satisfaction. It is about building relationships and understanding the deeper layers that can determine the success of an organization.

At Van Elst & Partners we look for candidates with not only functional skills, but especially also the right personal and cultural complement. In the new setup we will continue to serve the traditional clients, but also focus on Dutch organizations.

In addition, we advise larger family businesses, where there is a special fusion of business requirements and wishes from the company and interests and relationships within the family. We offer pragmatic support to the management of these companies with their specific challenges in the field of succession planning. This can range from integrating the new generation of the family into management to interim management or permanent support for the board, when this can strengthen the company.

Would you like to discuss the challenges within your organization with me? Contact me and we will schedule a meeting!
